Hey y’all, it’s Nick and I’m Sick of this Shit especially when it comes to being gaslit about everything. I’m a millennial and I’ve been gaslit since I was in high school. I’m part of the generation that grew up with the promise of the American Dream, where we were promised - fucking promised - that we could go to college, get a job, and the whole world would be at our fingertips. Then while the oldest end of my generation of was really just getting into the workforce and my end of the generation was still in high school, the housing market crashed. Once that happened, the gaslight began and we got blamed… somehow? Then things just kept going, and going, and going, and going. By this point, it’s all history and it’s not worth repeating.
Now we get to our current problem, the GOP and the MAGA cult. These people have an obsession with gaslighting people - they’ve made it their full-time job and they do it from some of the most powerful positions within our government. Unfortunately, they’ve also made their allegiance very clear, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, it’s not to the Constitution or to serving the greater good of the United States. If you haven’t picked up on these clues yet though, I would recommend you start paying a little bit closer attention. There’s a lot going on around the country and unfortunately most of it follows the theme of gaslighting us out of our rights.
So, let’s just touch on some of these big ones going on right now…
I’m sick of this shit where these GOP and MAGA cultists gaslight everyone about the actual ongoing issues at the border, yet the Senate negotiates the most enforcement heavy border bill, has it endorsed by the Border Patrol Union (which has previously endorsed Trump). They spend months holding up aide to our allies in Ukraine “demanding” something be done on the border, then spend weeks trashing the deal they “wanted”. Now we get to play performative politics because the Orange Jesus told them to. Trump and MAGA have threatened the GOP into believing that the Democrats are the enemy from within, the Oklahoma GOP censured their own ultra-conservative Senator Lankford because we was willing to do is job and negotiate. Seriously, all he did was do his fucking job, that’s it… just the bare minimum of what he was elected to do. Yet we are being gaslit to believe that the border is the most important issue and people are dying and drugs are coming across and whatever other issue it is during an election year. Yet a solution is put in front of their faces and they are provided an opportunity to actually do their jobs and they don’t, because Trump said he wants to run on the issue. So, when did a private citizen get to dictate our border policy and identify which bills are up or down for legislative votes?
I’m sick of this shit where the Orange Jesus gets to say there is a 100% change of a terrorist attack, yet have this “God’s Army” bullshit with their own people planning actual terrorist attacks against our country and only being stopped because ATF, BP, FBI, and other federal agencies protected us from them. So, let’s get this perfectly clear - we have a convoy calling themselves “God’s Army”, which happens to also translate to “Hezbollah”, that is purposely being used to try and incite an incident at the border. Yet, when they arrived there was nothing there? So which is it, do we have a crisis at the border that we need to have a legislative resolution or is there no real need and this can be solved after the election?
I’m sick of the endless gaslighting, the endless propaganda, and the endless victimhood from people who just don’t deserve it. For people who have pushed against every positive change in our country and are openly encouraging, inciting, and participating in the lawlessness and terrorism… I reject the premise of your arguments and I no longer have the energy to deal with your shit.
It’s time we take back the national narrative and redefine what it means to be a Patriot and how we conserve and protect our rights and freedoms while progressing our society towards a just and equitable future for everyone.
It’s time we stop tolerating the intolerable and remember what it means to be a Patriot and how we conserve and protect the sanctity of our country while providing a bastion of hope and freedom where the American Dream can be alive for those here now and those hoping to find safety and comfort here too!
