Heather Cox Richardson has written about the fiercely independent Amarican cowboy ideology that has done so much damage and caused so muchh misunderstanding. Pushed by Hollywood and a couple of presidents (republicans of course) , this congered up, ficticous image has impacted generations of boys in not so positive ways. I hope we all are, men and women, ready for the changes we all need to make. ...to work toward a balance within ourselves and our communities.
